No game disc found! Please insert Ambitions before proceeding?

It's my first time downloading an expansion pack for my Sims 3 game and it refuses to work
I've went through all the installation process when getting Ambitions and I've moved the updated cracks into the bin folder, basically done everything the installation guide told me.
It keeps coming up with 'No game disc found! etc.) Everything I read online tells me to uninstall my base game and Ambitions, which I've done three times so far and nothing works! It either comes up with 'Report to the log for details' or the 'No game disc' message.
If someone could just give me some simple steps into making my game work I'd be very grateful

Oh and I have also updated my base game fully. Everytime I double click on the exe. file in the cracks folder it comes up with a pop up saying 'Unable to start game, Service initialization failed (0x0175dcbb)'
I have followed the guide carefully but nothing seems to work.

Please be sure that you do the following in this order (If you've already installed / done something, just skip that step):

1. Install The Sims 3 base game.
2. Install Outdoor Living Stuff.*
3. Install Late Night.*
4. Install any other expansions you like. (For WA, just skip the "# Crack" folder)
5. Apply this fix: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-latest-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems
6. Your game should be working fine now!

* = These expansions must be installed in order to make the game work.

It lets me press the play button on the launcher, then it looks like it's about to start up, then comes up with a pop up box saying 'Unable to start game' Service initialization failed (0x0175d824). I have followed all the steps, downloaded everything and applied all the latest cracks, any suggestions on how I could fix this?

Well, that's odd; the Fix should've fixed that problem.

Anyhow, please do exactly as following, it should work correctly now:

1. Completely uninstall The Sims 3, all expansions and all customs stuff etc.
2. Restart your PC.
3. Install The Sims 3 base game.
4. Install Outdoor Living Stuff.
5. Install Late Night. (Ignore the Installation Guide which says you need to reinstall everything)
6. Install any other expansions you like. (For WA, just skip the "# Crack" folder)
7. Apply this fix: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-latest-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems
8. Your game should be working fine now.
