Black screen when starting up

Hi! Well, it only happens on fullscreen mode, so i changed it to window mode, but it's not as god! If anyone can help me, i'd aprecciate it

So you mean you can play the game on windowed mode, but not fullscreen mode because of black screen? If that is the case, it only means your graphic card cannot support The Sims 3 while in fullscreen mode.
