May not be around much for a while.

Hello everyone,
One of my relatives has had an accident and it's going badly. There's no brain activity, so his death is imminent. Yesterday the decision was made to stop his treatment.
It hasn't really sunk in yet, but once it does I don't know how it will affect my mood and my willingness to be online at all. I imagine I may be offline(ish) for a week or 2.

I'm so sorry to hear about that.
Once the brain activity ceases, that's very bad, and chances are very slim. 
I hope you'll find the strength you need to cope with that. Take care.
