How to open the Sims3 Complete Collection
This is what i have done so far:
1) Followed all the instructions on this https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly page till step 2.
2) Downloaded the Complete Collection
3) Opened up the .rar file with WinRAR and extracted all the files into my local disk C:'s sims3 folder.
The complete collection folder has files like "autorun" "setup", basically files that i have no idea what to do with.
I want to download all the expansion packs and stuff packs available for the sims 3.
What should I do next?

Re: How to open the Sims3 Complete Collection
Thanks for the video!
When I clicked " run as administrator", an error message that says " Windows cannot find "...". " Is this a problem with the file or the way I downloaded it?
After this, I tried just opening it normally, and another error message came up that told me that the version of the file is not compatible with my version of Windows.
Did I do something wrong while downloading it?

Thanks! Can you post a screenshot of both messages and your Windows version (7, 8 or 10; 32 or 64 bit)?
Also, do you have administrative privileges on your computer or are you using a kit/guest/simple user account (you can't install anything if you don't have admin privileges)?
Let's know, so we can give you further assistance.

Re: How to open the Sims3 Complete Collection
I see... Did you extract ALL the files from the RAR into a folder somewhere in your computer or are you trying to run the installer from within the RAR file?
I guess that may be the case, so you should extract all the files from your RAR file using Winrar, then you run "autorun.exe" as administrator.
If it's not the case, we'll need the help of a more experienced moderator here in the Forum, please let's know if you got your problem solved by extracting everything to a folder or if you still have the same issue even after extracting the files.
Meanwhile, let's have some tea and hope for the best!

Re: How to open the Sims3 Complete Collection
I extracted all the files into another folder and tried again, with the same results.

Hello,
Did you succeed in installing the base game? You need Daemon tools for that.
If it fails, please try to unrar again, and make sure the download is complete!

Note that you actually do not need the instructions on the "Read this first" page, if you use the Complete Collection. The instructions that come with that download are still up-to-date, so follow only those.
If you already had the The Sims 3 base game installed, you can continue with the steps that come with the Complete Collection. They can be found in the "# Installation Guide.txt" in the root folder.
