Invalid file makes makes patching 1.24 impossible (even with ultimate fix). [SOLVED]

Hi!

First of all, this website is a revelation! I have read through most of the topics and I hope you can help me out with this one as well.

I have installed the sims 3 with ALL of it's expansions. Eventhough 6/9 are cracked versions, they work great!
Now it's time to update to the latest patch 1.24. I used the ultimate fix and followed the instructions carefully, copying and pasting all the files into the right folders. When the updating to patch 1.24 finishes it STILL says that there is an invalid file.

How can this be? I have replaced all the files that were in the fix....
Is there something I have overlooked here?

I can still play, NP, but I'd love to have these patch fixes in my game, so I hope someone out here has an idea on what I can do?

You could watch the instruction video to see if you made a mistake.

If it still doesn't work, just use this manual patch when applying the Fix (instead of using the game launcher's updater): https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1870-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v124-fix
