Instructions? [SOLVED]
I downloaded all five parts of the latest ultimate fix, but when I opened them there were no instructions...? I don't want to just dig around until I find something, because when that happens I tend to just mess everything up. I did notice in Part 1 there's the _Installer folder with Touchup.exe but I didn't want to mess with anything until I knew if I had done something wrong. And I'm not sure what to do with all five parts?
Did I do something that caused it to not download fully? Or did I just...miss something?

Re: Instructions? [SOLVED]
Hi there, @rkeily, and welcome to the Games4theworld Forum!
Are you sure that there is no file called #Installation Guide.pdf in any of the RAR files? You should look into all of them to make sure that it isn't there.
Now, what you need to do is extract all of the RAR files to the install location of the game (if you installed our version it should be at Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4), exactly as you would a normal Ultimate Fix. The only difference is that this one is split into parts, but the process is the same.
If you get an "Origin isn't running" error, then you should take the The Sims 4 folder and get it out of the Electronic Arts folder, so that it ends up in Program Files (x86)\The Sims 4.
Please, let us know how it goes. Good luck!

I see. That's interesting.
Yes, you should extract part by part to the game install location, until all 5 parts have been extracted. Make sure to choose 'Replace' whenever asked during the extraction. And don't worry, just let us know any problems that you encounter and we'll do our best to help you.

Just open part.1.rar and extract the contents from it. After the extraction is done, ignore the other rar.part-files. Then you just copy + paste the folders into your TS4 install location.
And did you make sure to have Adobe Reader installed ? Could you post a screenshot of the inside of one of your rar-files ?
If it's really not there for some reason, get the instructions here:

Not necessary. Extracting from one part of the download will automatically extract from the remaining parts too.

Ah, I see. So it's split as a multi-part RAR file instead of multiple RAR files. That's good to know!

Exactly. When you pack a .RAR file, you should see an option somewhere saying "split into volumes". You then enter a certain volume size, which each rar.part should have (for example: 800MB), and off you go: the .RAR is split into several volumes with the size you chose. That's what I used here.

Re: Instructions? [SOLVED]
Okay..so. I made a new folder to move everything into but whenever I try to copy from Part 1 I get this (pic) and everything kind freezes (included all parts in the picture too as requested) (also this picture is incredibly large...sorry)
\\EDIT
I tried moving them in a backwards order (part 5, part 4, on) but every time I tried to move the files I got either "SP01\ClinetFullBuild0.package" or "GP01\ClientFullBuild0.package" as broken and the folders wouldn't moven

Please, try extracting with the program WINRAR, and not 7-zip. You can get WinRAR 5.21 from this site here:

Re: Instructions? [SOLVED]
Using Winrar worked!!
There's a new problem, though...Origin keeps popping up. I followed SeoY's advice and moved the files from Electronic Arts to a new The Sims 4 folder under Program Files(x86) and I added those as an exception to my Windows Defender, but the problem is still happening

Hi again, @rkeily!
So, is your game running fine now? Or is there anything else we can help you with at the moment?

I see. Well, as you already opened it, we'll continue discussing that problem in that topic. I'll close this one now.
