Help!

Since 2011 I have never had an issue downloading, and successfully installing your games and updates. This is the best site for anything relating to the Sims, but recently, since downloading the latest update with Cool Kitchen Stuff, my game has messed up completely. I followed all instructions perfectly, and I believe my Wind 8 Def is not the problem. I have uninstalled, re-downloaded, moved the Sims 4 file to Prg (86), everything. All to no avail, my game is still not working. I cannot get the Origin message to stop, even though Origin is not even installed on my PC anymore. I have cleaned all files from my PC, reinstalled time after time and there is still no solution! Please help! I love your site and would love to continue with you all but something has got to give. Please help asap. Anyone, anyone!

It seems like everyone is having this problem!! Even when following all of the steps. And it takes quite some time to get feedback..this place isn't as active like in 2011.
