Microsoft Officr 2013 Professional Plus AutoRun error. [CLOSED] Empty Microsoft Officr 2013 Professional Plus AutoRun error. [CLOSED]

Post by Guest Mon 23 Mar 2015, 13:05

Hi I am trying to install Microsoft Office 2013 Professional Plus but I cannot get past step 1 of the installation instructions. I mounted the iso with daemon tools and when i click on Autorun.exe, a Setup Error appears saying "Setup can't find or validate an installation file. Please try reinstalling Office from your installation source, or if you installed from a download package, please re-download and reinstall. If you continue to have problems, please contact Microsoft or your system administrator."
Does anyone have a fix for this?

Hello and welcome to the forum,

Why did you create an .ISO (?!) file for installing ? Smile  No need for that, if you downloaded it from Games4TheWorld. Just get yourself the program WinRAR (from this site, if you like), and install that program according to the included instructions.

Next, please make an empty folder somewhere and then open the original .RAR download of Microsoft Office 2013 (from Games4TheWorld) and mark all contents in it with your mouse. Now drag & drop all contents of the .RAR, with your mouse into that empty folder. After the extraction is done go to that folder and re-start the installation from there.

Good luck !

Thanks, I've extracted it with winrar but I am still getting the message. I think that I downloaded this torrent from an unreliable source, as I did not find the link on your site but on the pirate bay. Also, when I run the auto run.exe (which apparently was last edited in 2009) avg prevents a Trojan, so I am in the process of downloading from the downloads page on your site.

You should turn off ALL your "security"-software, before applying the activator. Smile  It will often show up as "virus" (because many activators and cracks do).

Good luck again !
