A rather delayed Introduction Empty A rather delayed Introduction

Post by Guest Fri 04 Nov 2016, 15:06

I've posted a few times and been lurking around this forum for a few weeks but never made a proper introduction of myself so here we go.

Hello, I am Aelinore, or Aeli if that is easier for some people. I am 33 year old stay at home mum and aspiring manga artist. My game loves are of course the Sims, my favorite being the Sims 2. As for other games, I am big into the Silent Hill and Resident Evil series, The Witcher games, Fallout and Elder Scrolls, Mass Effect series, as well as Dragon Age and Bioshock games. I am mostly console gamer but this new laptop I have just gotten allowed me to branch a bit more into PC gaming via my Steam collection.

I own a ps4, ps3, and xbox 360. My husband and I are hoping to soon get our xbox one. I play two MMO games, Guild Wars 2 (Just started it recently) and Final Fantasy XIV Heavensward. I hope to eventually make friends here and get to know you all.

Thanks for taking the time to read my rambling post!

Hi there,

Better late than never, welcome to the Games4theworld Forum! Very Happy
Your name reminds me of Mrs Guthrie.

You know you're going to have a hard time making friends if you don't acknowledge the fact that PC is the master race, right?

I have been stuck without a pc until fairly recently after mine went tango uniform a couple of years ago. I love my consoles but I do actually prefer pc gaming, just had to get a computer again and didn't want to get something that was rubbish at running games. Very Happy

I am not sure I know who Mrs. Guthrie is, but my name is a nod to both a video game that not many really played I don't think and my actual name, Ellanore. Smile

Welcome to the Forum @Aelinore! Very Happy

Apart from the PC, I'm not so much into consoles anymore these days. I have some really oldschool Nintendo consoles (NES, SNES & N64), alongside a PS2 and a more recent Nintendo 3DS XL. Still have some games for the DS that I need to start with, sometime.

Haters gonna hate

Thanks! I also have some of the older consoles, heck, the husband and I still have the old Atari system and it works too!  lol!

I do prefer pc gaming but as stated before, I have been without a pc for two years until recently, I love mods in many of my games so pc is the way I tend to lean. Thanks for the welcome!
