Infinite Black Screen?

I've had The Sims 3 Complete Collection installed for ages, and now for some reason it's not working, it gives me an infinite black screen every time I try to start my game. I've removed all my mods, tried to run the game in vanilla and the same thing happens, so it's not a mod problem. Is there anything I can do to stop this? (Please help.)

Let's try your drivers first, check the make and model of your Graphics card, and see if their website has updated drivers for you. If not, try to run the patch for 1.67 again, see if that helps.
