Update To Install??

Hello! I need some help. I am successfully installing sims 3 expansion packs like (Generations, Pets...etc) But I couldn't wait to install my 2 packs i was looking forward to installing. Island Paradise and Into The Future. I open the Sims3EP10Setup application, and i press next to start installing. It gives me a message that says i need to update it. I said okay but then an error message pops up that i cant update it. I haven't done the crack either. Help please!
