Household doesn't load.

Hi, I've followed the instructions on how to install TS4 step-by-step, made sure to rename the game folder after toddler update and before parenthood, applied to update patch, and even went through this entire process twice but my households are still not loading. The first time, I was able to get into live mode but nothing loaded at the bottom that allowed me to control them. Now, I try to click the play button but nothing happens and the images of the families at the selection screen do not load at all. Is there any way to fix this?

Exact same problem. No matter what I do, nothing works.

I try to load the household and it just rolls me back to the world selection screen.

Bumping this topic. Game is literally unplayable.

I had a very similar (if not the same) issue and after applying the fix from Ghostman, my game now works. Here's the link to the post with the issues I had and what I did to fix them. Hope this helps.

Nope, didn't work. Still just takes me back to the world screen no matter what.

And thus didn't do the two steps in the end.

It just.. Randomly started working all the sudden after re-installing the game. Again.

And it randomly broke again. Good stuff.
