The Sims 3 Late Night "Disc Authorisation Failure:

Please help. Iv'e got a cracked version of The Sims 3 Late Night. After Installing it, there is an update availible. But after installing the update and running the game I get an error message saying "Disc Authorisation Failure". This only happens if I run the update after installing. If I don't run the update I'm able to play. Please can someone help me, I don't understand why this is happening or how I can fix it. My base game is version 1.67 and Late Night after update is version 6.5.1.

Version 1.67 is the last update for downloaded games.
There is an update 1.69 where you can switch off unwanted DLC's. That update is for genuine owners of the game.
So when your version is 1.67, there's no need to udate.
