Game is not launching anymore

Hi.
I will admit i am quite new to this but i followed the download and installation instructions to the letter.
I downloaded all the games and installed them, however what i did not read properly was that the ultimate fix must be used when you have a slow internet connection so i incorrectly installed that one too.
My game started but had none of the expansions on it.

on the forum i saw it could be because of the fix.

I uninstalled and deleted everything and started from scratch without installing the fix at the end, but now the game does not launch at all!

What am i doing wrong?

Did you - prior to a new installation - also delete the installation Folder ?
If you didn't, remnants of a previous installation could interfere.

Jip i deleted all the electronic arts and sims 4 folder that was under the c drive. Made sure nothing was there.

Hi there,

Open up your task manager and make sure that Sims 4 is not running in the background. Also, check that any shortcuts you've made point to the correct path, either in Program Files OR x86/ anywhere else you've installed the game to.
