Hi, I've recently installed some store content and some neighbourhoods from this site and everything works fine in the game. However after that I tried to install some cc and everytime I tried to install them from the launcher the little "installation square" (I don't know what it's called) won't work, it will stay black until it says "the sims 3 stopped working". After a couple times I tried to install cc by converting sims3pack files into package files and putting them in the "Packages" folder in my "Mods" folder. After doing that I clicked on play on the launcher, the screen goes black as if the "EA" sign will pop up and instead it say "the sims 3 stopped working". I tried almost everything and I still can't find a solution. Please help meee!! Why God. Why God.

Also the cc that I installed prior to that works just fine.

Hello and welcome to the Forum @Annyx00,

The launcher of The Sims 3 indeed is suffering from huge problems, see this message here. What kind of .sims3pack files were you converting to .package files? You should not use this method on world files.

And what happens if you start the game with the TS3W.exe, under C:\Program files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin ?
