Can't start game after updating to My First Pet Stuff

Game was running fine until I updated to My First Pet Stuff. After following instructions to the T, I tried to open my game back up and keep getting the TS4_x64 error (0xc0000142) after the creepy little Hello  from OrangeEmu64. I have updated to 1.41.42.1020 in the hopes of there being a fix, but I'm still getting the same error. 

I have done the exclusions to my AV, I've disabled Defender, I've even done the OrangeEmu file replacements suggested in previous posts, I've tried running as admin, tried using the all-in-one, tried installing the game with CODEX installer + update and still the same result.

Has anyone else had any luck fixing this error? I'm kind of at my wit's end with this.

I'm having the same problem, and have tried all the mentioned fixes with no luck.  So frustrating!

It's only an issue with the 64-bit version.  x86 runs fine, but this is obviously not ideal, as it often crashes or takes ages to load.

There is a problem with virtualisation and/or Hyper-V. I removed Hyper-V from my computer and the problem disappeared and now I'm able to play with the Codex crack.

Thank you! It worked! For the people who don't know how to disable Hyper-V, search for "Turn Windows Features on or off" and find Hyper-V there. Disable the folder, and restart when prompted.
