HELP!! Checksum error in setup4.cab. The file is corrupt

I have just downloaded all the sims 4 and im trying to extract them to install them but im getting this error ! C:\Users\sarah\Downloads\The Sims 4\The Sims 4\The Sims 4.rar: Checksum error in setup4.cab. The file is corrupt

I have disabled my antivirus too

Please HELP

It has nothing to do with your anti-virus. The "The Sims 4.rar" file is, as error states, corrupted. In your torrent client right click on "The Sims 4.rar" torrent and select "check files"/"force recheck" or some similar option.

And do the same for every expansion that fails to extract too.

If you seem to be getting that kind of error more frequently, consider switching your torrent client to something else than what you are using right now. I use qBittorrent and can't complain about it. I hear Tixati is also very good, so maybe that can give you a first start.
