Expansions problem.

Expansions problem. Empty Expansions problem.

Hello, so for the base to properlly work i need at least one expansion and so it does say in the ultimate fix. So i open  the setup application and after opening it a window pops out with a message, that the sims 3 need to be closed while the expansion downloader is workig. and here is the problem. the sims 3 is closed and so is everything related to it.

I trieed to dowloand the Expansions: Generation and Diesel Stuff

I followed all the instruction i also updated the game, so what do i do now?

Can you try re-producing (screenshot, or type the text here), what exactly the error message says? To the best of my re-collection I can't ever recall such a scenario with the (G4TW) installers of TS3, but let's see.
