Sims 3: Not Up To Date / Can't Install Latest Downloads

Hey there! My game seems to be working fine right now, but I haven't been able to install any of the updates from most of January / February. I get an error message saying my 'game is not up to date'. I am updated on the base game to 1.29.55.014001 and my overall version is 11.0.84.014001. I'm just wondering how I can manually update & patch my game if need be so I can go ahead and stay current with the store downloads. Thanks!

No, but I don't have origin installed. When I click on the 'Game Updates' tab it says my game is up to date but can't connect to origin.

How do I go about installing Origin? I know I've turned down the opportunity when installing expansions / stuff packs (I have them all installed right now), is there another way to do it?

Also not sure if I should start a new ticket or not - but something else I just noticed was my World Adventure destinations are acting a little weird. I'm not able to purchase any cameras anymore (aside from the disposable one) and I can't buy a vacation home - the option isn't in any menus. Any insight?

Do you have any Mods/Custom Content?

I do have mods installed (from twallan), but I've noticed this since before I installed any of those - it just occurred to me this might be a problem you've seen before!

The option to 'Buy A Vacation Home' doesn't come up in my phone or computer options at home or on holidays. Before I could buy cameras from the general merchants in the vacation spots, but now the only one I see is the disposable one - do you know where in build / buy they are?

Hmm no sign of the cameras (the video cams are there, not the photo
ones). When I try to input that cheat, it tells me it can't recognize
it.

I replaced all of my Nraas mods with the latest ones &
still no dice with the store content or my World Adventures working
properly.

Hmm I dont know what Traveler so I'm guessing no? I am considering uninstalling and reinstalling all of my games at this point - however I'm wondering if you have instructions on your forums somewhere on how to back up my current family? I'm not super attached to them but I thought I'd check in just in case. I'm just thinking my game is a bit of a house of cards right now and I'd rather start it right from the ground up again.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try the Traveler mod. If I want to re-import my mods / saved games, how do I go about doing that?

The other reason I'm seriously considering an uninstall / reinstall is the fact I still can't seem to get the Launcher to recognize I have the latest version of the game to install the store updates (Lunar Lakes et al).

I also might wait until the new EP comes out - it's possible all will be resolved once that happens.

I've got access to the cameras now but still no luck on buying vacay homes, even with the Traveler mod. I'm going to wait and see if the new expansion will fix my game altogether (including being able to install new store updates), otherwise I may uninstall and reinstall everything.
