unable to start sims 3

unable to start sims 3

I downloaded everything and followed the directions many times and I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, and doing all the cracks and stuff over and over but any time I try to get into the game it acts like its working but then it fails and says "unable to start game. service initialization failed (0x039e8474)"
help?
