HAPPY 12th DAY!
The last time something like this happen I missed out on it and just read about it later in the day. Today I didn't want that to happen so here I am over at my fav website celebrating a day long remembered, or easily forgotten depending on who you are or where you live.
Here in America on the east coast it's 12/12/2012 at 12:12:12. I know this is the day some believe will be the end of it all, but for me I'm going to use this day as the day I started getting a handle on my smoking. I need to quit badly, so today is the day I start doing that.
As for everyone else, I hope today is a good day for you. It's sunny over here in Virginia, and I hope it's the same where ever you are. I hope everyone enjoys today with little to no worries. I hope today brings something good to you all. And if this is the end of it all, then I hope no one has any real regrets. Remember, all the wrong turns you made, made you into the awesome person you are today. Everything you did in life has brought you to this point now, and I hope you have a good life, surrounded by those who love you and you hold dear in your heart.
Whether it be bad or good, I feel today is going to be importent. Or maybe it's just going to be another day. I really don't know for sure. But today does feel like there is a change in the wind. I just hope it's something wonderful.

And good luck quitting smoking. If you need support, let me know. I quit cold turkey when I found out about my pregnancy and I intend not to start again because this is the 3rd time I've done this and it's hard.
For the first few days.
I won't lie to you, it's going to be hard for the first couple of days, but after about a week, you'll find that you only miss your cigarette certain times a day, like, first thing in the morning, or right after dinner. Just find something else to do. After 2 weeks, you'll have come a long way and you'll hardly think about smoking. Only when you're stressed. But most of all you'll be so proud of yourself for keeping it up and then one day after 4-6 weeks, you'll realize that you haven't thought about smoking in a few days and you don't care so much anymore.
