Sims 3 Pets disk error. Empty Sims 3 Pets disk error.

Post by Guest Sun 30 Dec 2012, 15:16

Hello.

I was trying to install Sims 3 Pets once again, when suddenly, a dialogue box popped up with the following error: "Please insert disk 1 that contains the file "Caches/AppaloosaPlaina.objectChace.
I already tried the fix that is meant to fix the problem, but it didn't work for me. Any ideas? :c

Hello,

Please re extract the file you downloaded. When in doubt, use winRAR.

Hello,

How did you extract it? Which program and which method?

I used winRAR and I extracted it like this: right click on the icon/file>extract here. Then I followed the steps to replacing and copying the files.

By the way, I have tried this method a day earlier and it worked perfectly, but the error was this one: "Please insert disk 1 that contains the file Support\Readme\en\en_EULA.rtf.". And due to the fact that the text was missing, I uninstalled the expansion packs and when I tried installing pets again, a different one popped.

Hello,

Hmm. That sounds like it's corrupted, have you re-extracted it and tried? if that doesn't do it, you may have to redownload.
