Unknown Error Occured. [SOLVED]

I've installed Sims 3 70's,80's expansion thing and the University Life and updated the game and had the Ultimate Fix. But there's a problem with the launcher. I've tried using the 'delete the system.reg' method but it still doesn't work (it just keeps on appearing on the Sims 3 Preference folder whenever I open the game). 'Unknown Error Occurred' still appears in my screen.

Please help! I want to play this game already! >.<

Yes I did. I did everything that the installation guide had said I should do but it still doesn't work.

I tried installing the expansions first before updating it but it still doesn't work. There's still 'Unknown Error Occurred'. But when I uninstalled the 2 new expansions (University Life and 70s, 80s, 90s Stuff) and opened the game, it actually works........ however, because I already updated it, the game seems to lag at some point because it's "too updated".

Is there something wrong with expansions, perhaps? I installed it correctly but I still get the error. Or maybe there should be a new Ultimate Fix crack..............

No, there's nothing wrong with expansions because I have all of them installed and they're working perfectly.

You have to do this:
1) Install base game and update it with Super Patch https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t3597-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v150-fix-manual-patch
2) Install all the EPs you want. (Unzip them always with Stuffit Expander)
3) Put the crack files into The Sims 3 bin folder: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-ultimate-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems
4) That's it. You should be able to play now. Good luck!

The crack that you're referring to is the crack from the Ultimate Fix, right?

I've tried it but it still doesn't work. It says 'Unknown Error Occurred'. Do I need to reinstall everything again?? But I really don't want to do all that........

Ok. Can you tell me exactly what you did after you unzip the RAR with Stuffit, please?
And yes, the crack is in the "# Crack" folder inside the Ultimate Fix.

Okay. Since it seems like I have to start from scratch (because I swear, I've done everything), I'll uninstall and install everything. Let me get back to you once it's done.

EDIT:

FOUND THE ERROR!!!! It seems that I downloaded Sims 3 Seasons from another source and that may be the reason why there's error occurred. I downloaded the Sims 3 Seasons of Games4theworld and it works!!!! ^__^
