Game takes forever and a day to load...

I opened my game and as usual, the loading screen appeared, the list of mods, and the save games. But when I started a game, I waited over an hour and there was the loading bar didn't even move an inch. So, help?

Try playing without the mods?

It's the same for me as well, I took out a lot! of mods I deleted all saved games and the ddc or dcc w/e backup.. I've been waiting over a hour just to get in cas. This is not normal.

No it's not normal. I wait about ten minutes total, but not an hour.

I recently doownloaded the aurora skies world lucky palms or w/e and sunset tides plus a lot of cc. I deleted some of the cc but still trying to use to worlds, Maybe it's that?

Try playing without anything extra. Just remove the entire sims 3 folder from your documents and play a test game.

Yesss so much better! It took 6 mins to load from the main menu. And the cas part wasn't laggy at all compared to it is when the folder is in documents.

That leads me to the conclusion that it was all your cc causing this. You can add it back in, but do it slowly, testing the game between each group you add.

I moved my Sims 3 folder to my desktop and started a new save game, and it seemed to work fine, and then I tested it with all my mods and it worked. But when I moved my save games back, it went back to loading at the same pace of a snail. So I think it may be one of my saved games being corrupted...?

How long have you been using that save?

I'm not too sure. I don't exactly keep track of them.

The save coul be too large for your game to easily load.
