Antivirus

Hey guys!
Yeah, so, I wanted to talk to you about my antivirus, because I find it pretty cool.
It's VIPRE. I got it from Pirate Bay (of course ).
Basically, it prompts whenever something happens, and you have the choice of creating a rule (if you allow the program to run it will always allow it).
That way, you're sure nothing runs without your knowledge!
So at the beginning it is a bit long to create rules for all your programs, but then it's pretty cool!
So yeah, just wanted to share this with you all...

Don't most AV software have a built-in option for that? (So you can choose whether you want to program to make the rules for you automatically or that you want to enter them manually each time)

I don't know. I was using Malwarebytes and Norton before, which basically do everything for you and you have no control whatsoever...

Well, G Data gives me the option to choose between "Autopilot" and "Manual" mode.

Oh an anti-virus, you mean that program that slaps you over the hand whenever you're about to do something with a 1% chance of releasing a virus on your system? Or anything that violates the DRM? Yeah I don't need it.
