Advice?
I think this is the correct place to post this but please correct me if I am wrong.
Here goes.
I just got my old trusty PC, Banana King as I like to call him, back up and running after a rootkit virus tore the poor baby to into shackles.
He's clean now and I would like to keep him that way.
I know this probably gets asked a lot, but games4theworld downloads are completely clean of viruses and malware right? Everything from the game torrents to the Sims 3 Store Downloads?
Of course, I scan everything now that comes through my computer with Microsoft Security Essentials like an OCD maniac after the rootkit thing went down. >< BUT antivirus programs can only catch so many things and I would just like an assurance from those who use the games and downloads here frequently.
It would set my worried mind at ease, and get me back into playing the Sims 3(a game I love that is way too expensive for my blood and put out by one of the many companies in the world that I do not want throw my money at.)
Kay and thanks for an responses.

Re: Advice?
Hey!
So yeah, our downloads are checked to be virus-free, that's why it takes a while sometimes (we prefer quality than rapidity).
So go ahead! It is safe to download!
(PS: I have all sims 3 expansions running, as well as Sims Medieval, and other games from here! )

OK, it may depend on the internet connection, but the G4TW downloads (at least the Sims 3 ones) also tend to be quite fast
(except when a new expansion comes out and a lot of people download at the same time, but after a while, the speed will improve).

The "waiting time" is definitely worth it.

Re: Advice?
NO WAIT! WAIT! Some of our downloads might have viruses in them!
But nothing to worry about. :)They'll only register keystrokes and send them to a central database. It won't affect your PC's performance though, so completely safe!
