Sims Into the Future Disc Authorization Failure

I followed the ultimate fix and downloaded all of the files correctly but when I go to play, the Into The Future expansion pack tells me that no game disc is found and insert disc before playing.

have you tried to start without launcher? its the tsw3.exe file

First of all I really advise you to read the guide carefully and repeat steps 2-4 of the guide again: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-ultimate-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems, meaning redownload both the Ultimate Fix and the manual patch.

You can also try charmedboy's method, but it might not work in your case.
