Help! supernatural and seasons not working..

I followed all steps in the how to download correctly but my ultimate fix is just a link(RAR file). No folders to find the #crack. I have Supernatural and Seasons. (both PC downloads) I have other EPs (Showtime, Generations, and Latenight) but I have disc for those. the trouble didn't come until supernatural and Seasons. so please help me with the ultimate fix.
***I do not get an error message it just never shows me any files to move.
I followed the directions perfectly.
My launcher is up to date 1.63.5.024017.

Hello,

So your actual UtimateFix.rar file has nothing contained inside of it, correct?

Please redownload it here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/k38pwmv5irp0y2z/The_Sims_3_fix.rar

If it gives you any trouble, remember these things:

1. Do not pause the download.
2. Do not attempt to use any files or open the .rar file until the download is 100% completed.

If nothing works, please attempt to download the Ultimate Fix .rar file from another browser; i.e., Mozilla, Internet Explorer, Opera, Google Chrome (GC is preferred).

Let us know your progress. Smile

I downloaded with GC but now what should it open as? my computer is attempting Adobe.

Hello,

The .rar file itself should ONLY be opened with a program called Winrar.

You can find it here: http://www.rarlabs.com/download.htm

At the very top/center of the page I linked you to, you should see two links that look like this:

If you know what version of system you're on, download one or the other, not both.

And by version of system, I mean whether or not you have a 32bit system or a 64bit system. Smile

Once you've installed the trial version of Winrar, you should be able to safely open the UltimateFix.rar INSIDE of the program Winrar. Once you do this, extract the files to your desktop (or drag and drop all files to your desktop). Then follow the steps provided to you earlier, here.

Ok. I tried it and it didn't work so I uninstalled and reinstalled the base game and expansion pack and the launcher still doesn't open the game. what do I do now?

First of all, never uninstall the base game and the expansion packs unless you are really sure you have no other choices. You might get other errors such as "Error During Startup" if you uninstall the game improperly.
