Origin version not working with cracked expansions

I have done some research on here and found a few threads about this, but none of them solved it for me. I got the humble bundle way back, and decided to use the codes now on my new computer. So I have Sims 3, Late Night, and High End loft stuff on origin(everything updated to the latest version). I had gotten the rest of the expansions packs and stuff packs from G4TW (also updated to latest version), and installed them where the sims 3 folder is located. All went well until I decided to actually play the game.
First I tried launching the base game through origin. It opened the launcher and when I hit play it said I need the Island paradise disc.
Then I tried opening it through TS3.exe and TSW.exe, which both lead to the launcher. 
This lead me to discovering the ultimate fix here, in which I followed the instructions exactly on this thread:

To no avail. It just continuously opened the origin launcher, even with the contents of #crack.
I have even uninstalled origin and the game still refuses to open. Now I am at a loss. If someone could please help me out here I would be most grateful. Thank you.

Sounds like a problem with the crack, follow what J.T. posted and it should work fine! Make sure to let us know whether it worked or not.

Thanks guys for the reply. I tried JT's method, but when I open TS3W.exe, it still opens up origin, thus I cannot play.

Have you definitely updated to 1.66 and using the correct crack? And have you copied the 2 files from the #crack folder and pasted them into C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 3\Game\Bin?

Once you've done that you open Origin up like usual and just click play on the Sims.

Yes, I am sure I have updated and used the right crack. Origin will launch the Sims3Launcher instead of the actual game, and if I click play in the launcher it will say I need a disc.

What crack are you using? To play the game you'll need to open the game from the launcher like you normally would. The purpose of the crack is so that you can play without CD's.. hence "cracking" the game.

I used the crack #crack folder, into the Bin folder. I tried the method a third time, updating over everything, and restarted my computer. This has appeared to work, thanks for the help.

So everything is all good now?  

Yeah it's fine. Now I just need to figure out which one of these pesky NRAAS mods is crashing it, but that's a whole other story. Thanks for the help.

EDIT: Quick question though, my sims launcher keeps opening up files in chrome. I guess they are images of whats supposed to be displayed in the launcher but appear on my browser instead. Insanely annoying. If anyone has a fix for that I wouldn't mind knowing. If not, I'll live.

The only nraas mod known to still be buggy with the new update is the Traveler mod. I believe that all the nraas mods have been tested with the new update and they work fine. The only word of warning is to back up your saves in case something goes wrong.

Actually, I have found that mastercontroller causes my game to crash. Weird.
