sims 3 into the future

hello,
so i installed into the future and updated the game but since i updated it when i'm in the game in the main meny it doesn't show the texts and i also can't click to play
please help!!

Are you referring text balloons?

but it seems that it doesn't work...
i even unistalled the game and all the expansions and reinstalled but after the update of 1.67 itdoes that again...
i also had a notification about a sims 3 store update...is it possible to be that??
