Laser Rhythm-A-Con has no sound Empty Laser Rhythm-A-Con has no sound

hi so i just installed into the future and everythings fine except that whe i have my sim play the laser rhythm-a-con theres no sound. 
im assuming this isnt normal. 
does anyone have any solutionS?

Hello,

No, this isn't normal. But can you sell the item in buymode - and then buy a new rhythm-a-con ? See if that works, but other than that, do you have other sound glitches in the game ?

And are you using any mods or other CC ? They might cause some of these glitches too.

Hello,

overwatch, master controller, errortrap 
i didnt think they were the cause of the issue thouh and no buying a new one doesnt help. and it only occasionally has sound. maybe its lag? idk

For now, I would take this as a minor annoyance. I'm not sure about the lag thing either...

But do you encounter other sound glitches too ? In My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3, delete the following stuff and then re-start the game to see if anything improved:


-CASPartCache.package
-compositorCache.package
-scriptCache.package
-simCompositorCache.package
-socialCache.package
-plus the contents of the folders "WorldCaches" & "Thumbnails"
