sims 3 modification error

"It looks like you have installed an unofficial game modification that does not match your current version of The Sims 3. We recommend that you either uninstall these game modifications or get updated versions of them - otherwise you may experience crashes or significant bugs."

This is the message I have been getting from my Island Paradise. I saw someone else having the same problem as me and fixed it by using this manual crack and as well as the #crack folder from ultimate fix. I am not sure this would work for me , as I don't have installed generations or town life. The ones that I have installed are Master Suite Stuff, Island Paradise, University Life and Into the Future. Can someone tell me if the ultimate fix will work even though I don't have the other expansions ?

The instructions say that if you have "Generations" or a LATER expansion, then the Ultimate fix will work. Very Happy

With the expansions you currently have installed, it should work...so re-do the steps from #2 to #4 here, very carefully:

Also, you simply download the manual patch with your internet browser (don't pause or interrupt the download though !), and after downloading, you simply double-click on the patch file. Wait for the patch to finish, as it can take a while to complete the update.
