A little bit confused about installing the expansions with an origin base game

Hello,
First off I just wanna thank you guys, what EA have done with the expansions is just ridiculous, people don't have money lying around to spend that much.
The thing I'm confused about is where to install the expansions, if you have the origin base game? Is it just the default /Program Files (x86)/Electronic Arts ? Or does it need to go somewhere in the base game directory?

Hello there, and Welcome to the Games4theworld Forum! 
Yes, you can install the expansions in the default directory. They will indeed be at Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts, and they won't cause any problems with your base game being from Origin, I guarantee.

Just to clear up, when following the ultimate fix found here:
https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly
Place your #Crack folder files in /Program Files (x86)/Origin Games/The Sims 3/Game/Bin rather than where it states in the instructions.
