hi friend. I have big issues since I buy notebook for the first time.notebook does have touchpad in the center, below the keyboard. so ,I remember. 2009 is first time I buy notebook. I experience a lot of time misstype because my hand touch the touch pad while Im typing.

so , while I wanna type "I wanna buy ice cream" ,because of touchpad movement, it could change cursors "I wancreamna buy ice" .

not only change place. it could also move upper paragraph. also move cursor up and down.
Im used to type alot using computer before.this made me always see text I wanna type ,from the book, etc. so I didnt see my keyboard

I found touch freeze from google docs.it works very well.but I dont know whats wrong.I reinstall my windows last month.aftereinstall, I install touch freeze program again.this time it doesnt work. the type program happen again. manually turn off touchpad help, but its annoying..to
what should I do? find any program to replace touch freeze?
I believe the problem is not software.because my touchpad cannot change bigger because of reinstallling windows.if thats happen, thats a joke. and my hand would not growing bigger so fast for just 3 week (I ask ppl to reinstall windows, and didnt use notebook for 3 weeks since then)

Hi there! Smile

Did you make sure that the touchpad drivers are installed? Sometimes with a Windows reinstall some drivers will be missing and need to be installed again. We could help you better if you tell us exactly what Notebook you have. Wink

Also, some laptops have a built-in keyboard combination to turn off the touchpad. It's usually Fn key + a F# key (in my laptop it's Fn + F6). You could turn it off quickly when you are going to write and then turn it on again with just two keys. But it depends on your notebook.

I don't have experience with Touch Freeze, but I'll take a look and let you know what I find.

Let us know how it goes. Good luck! Very Happy

hi seoy.. I dont know wheter touchpad are installed or not. but I think my hand is the trouble one.. anyway how to check my touchpad installed or not?

my notebook is Asus a46cb

I often do that.turn off the touch pad.. but sometimes its annoying.because When typing, I would prefer use touch pad to move cursors if I need.. since its nearer than my mouse.. so annoying to keep turn touch pad on and off manually.. I need it turned off automatically when I start typing..

Hi again! Smile

To make sure, it's better that you download and install the driver again. You can find all of the drivers for your laptop here:
http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=A46CB&os=8

First, you need to choose your OS with the drop-down menu that is in that page. Then, scroll down to the one that says "Touch Pad" and download and install the driver inside. After that, you should restart your PC.

When that's done, also try uninstalling Touch Freeze completely (using some program like Revo Uninstaller or Your Uninstaller! Pro) and then install it again.

Keep us updated on how it goes. Good luck! Very Happy
