Thank you. I figured out what's wrong. Maybe I'm going to install the game on my other pc. Good day!  Surprised

JelleFickle wrote:Hi, I'm new to this. I can not install it. A window will pop up saying "Verify that the package exists and you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package."  Although I've read other threads that has the same problem as mine. (A pop up will appear and symbols, letters, numbers, etc will appear.) I have avast as an antivirus software. So please help. Thank you!  WhatDidUJustCallMe?

P.S: I decided to start a new thread since I can't reply to any old thread because it's "locked".

Hello JelleFickle and welcome,

Please make an empty folder on the C: drive somewhere. And then, use the program WinRAR for extracting the contents of the download, into that empty folder on C:

You can get WinRAR 4.20 from here:
http://www.games4theworld.org/downloads.html

After that, go to that empty folder and re-try the installation from there. Good luck and keep us posted ! Smile

P.S. As an additional safety measure, I strongly suggest you de-activate avast completely before installing the game. Also make sure to add the default installation location of the game to the "exclusions" of avast. The default location is C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Game\Bin.

P.P.S. and yes, you are supposed to make a new thread anyway, instead of posting under someone else's topic. Wink

Can you please update us on your progress ? What exactly did you do and why do you think you have to install it on another computer ? Smile

Also, please always edit your last post, and not the opening post. If you edit your very first post, it will only make things confusing to follow.
