Tried everything, still getting a error while starting the game!
Hi! I was so excited to see that the sims 4 torrent was uploaded! A big thankyou for that. I immediately downloaded it and installed it but I got the ''The dynamic library ''rld.dll'' failed to intialize (E0)'' error also my antivirus said that it had detected a Trojan Horse and wanted to delete it. So I downloaded the ultimate fix, I read the guide how to install it and saw that I needed to add the folder to my antivirus exception list, I looked up how I could add anything to the exception list and did that with all the folders! Even after I did this (only added the ''The Sims 4'' map at first) I got the virus note from my antivirus.. So I did every folder like ''Game'',' ''Support'' etc individually. The notes stopped! But even after installing the ultimate fix I still get the ''rld.dll'' failed to intialize (E0)'' error
Can somebody help me?
My antivirus is; G-Data Internetsecurity
And I have Windows 7 and 64-bit operating system.

Hi there, and welcome to the Games4theworld Forum!
Did you do the second step of the updated Instructions Guide? You can download this guide alone here:

Thankyou very much for your reply! Yes I did it, and did it another time after I saw your reply. I repaired it (that was the best option they gave me) but it still isn't working!

I see. So, did you manage to add all of the folders to the exception list? By the way, did you by any chance notice the location the antivirus said that it had found the 'Trojan'?
What you should do is maybe try disabling the antivirus temporarily, then re-download the Ultimate Fix. After that, copy all of the four folders to the game install location again. This could prevent your antivirus deleting important files and breaking the crack.
Please, keep us updated on how it goes. Good luck!

I played the game yesterday!
But today just before I wanted to play the game again I got the same notice from my G-Data AV it is the rld.dll file that contains the virus it's in the Game > Bin folder. I don't know what to do because i also added the Bin map to my exception list but it's still trying to delete it and there is no option for me to ignore it I either have to disinfect it, put it in quarantine, or delete it..

It seems that your problem is most likely your antivirus. I have never tried that one specifically, but is there a way to actually add the rld.dll file to the exception list? Just to make completely sure that the Antivirus ignores it. If you can't do anything but delete it now, you may do it and then apply the Ultimate Fix again to get it back, or actually close the antivirus in the Task Manager to make sure that it doesn't delete it.
Sorry, but you'll have to experiment a little with the antivirus you have and see if there's any way to stop it from deleting important Sims 4 files. Please, let us know how it goes. Good luck!
EDIT: Another thing you can try is adding a higher up folder to the exception list, for example the Electronic Arts folder, or the Program Files folder. It's a possibility.

I can't find a way to add just one file to the exception list the only I can choose is drive, folder and file extension but then I can't select anything.
I tried adding the whole Electronic Arts folder to my exception list but that isn't working either..

So, you already added all of the folders in the path to the exception list? Those would be Program Files (x86), Electronic Arts, The Sims 4, Game, and Bin. And I'm not exactly sure how that 'file extension' exception would work, but I assume that if you add .dll to that list it would ignore the file causing you problems. But that varies from AV to AV.

Hi again!
One thing you could try is re-downloading the Ultimate Fix, as maybe the antivirus actually deleted a file from it so when you copy the folders this file would still be missing. Or if you still have the RAR, extract it again (or extract the folders directly into Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4).
About your antivirus... It's very strange that it's still warning you of the file even if you already have it in the exceptions list. Maybe for that AV the list isn't absolute?

Yeah I extract it again every time, now the game is working again luckily!
But yeah I can't add a single file to my exception list.. I don't know what the thing is with my AV.. I also don't know anyone with G-Data internetsecurity

You need to familiarize yourself with your anti-virus, and its most important options. Or you can google on how to add files to the exceptions in G-DATA. Keep in mind that these "exceptions" or "exclusions" are not so easy to find, at times. You will have to look very closely in the options. For example, when I started using the "new" Avast Internet Security back then (a couple of years ago), I had to look hard to find the exclusion list, because it was almost hidden, lol.

I know, this is a AV my dad paid for so I have to use it. But I looked up how to add files and maps to the exception list and I found out how to do that. So I know where the list is but it's like my AV ignores that list and keeps deleting the files.. I'll search the internet some more and I'll keep you updated! Thanks anyway
