I need help with the rld.dll problem
After downloading the sims 4 I got the rld.dll error trying to start the game so I downlaoded the "fix" but I don't know where to put it or how to put it to fix the game.. I know I have to put it in a anti-virus folder? but I can't find the correct place to do this. Can someone please help me?

Hi there, and welcome to the Games4theworld Forum!
What antivirus do you have? First, you need to open your antivirus, and look for something called "Exceptions", or similar. The location varies from one program to another. When you find it, you should add all of the folders inside the Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 folder. Those are: _Installer, Data, Game, and Support. Make sure that all of those are in there.
Then, go to Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\__Installer\vc\vc2013\redist and double click vcredist_x86 and vcredist_x64. If they are not installed, install them. If they are, you can uninstall them and reinstall them to be sure.
Finally, copy the 4 folders inside the Ultimate Fix and paste them to Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4. Make sure to select the option with Replace when prompted.
That should be it. I hope I was clear enough. Good luck, and please let us know how it goes!
