Saving Issues

my game is having problems saving my games as well as generating new sims when playing with genetics in CAS, i either get stuck at a never ending "saving/loading" icon or i get suck at a loading screen this also happens when im simply building and i try to exit back to the world its really putting a damper on my gameplay
yes i have g4tw download
no i havent updated to the pools update
yes i have the ultimate fix installed
no i do not play online
hope someone has a solution
Realized my male sims arent loading in game or in CAS maybe a bug someone missed? would love some help

Hi there! 
Do you by any chance have Mods or CC installed? One thing you could try is to temporarily remove those from the folder, and put them somewhere else. Then, run the game again and check if the issues persist.
Another thing that could also help is removing the caches. Take a look here:

Be wary of the note that advices not to delete the files, but to remove them from the folder. This is because it's still not clear how those cache files work, so it's better to be sure.

tnks alot idk wat happened wit my game but i hade to make the game regen a new sims 4 folder and completly restart my computer only things i was able to save without getting te glitch was my tray with all my gallery stuff in it....i think a file or save got corrupted and messed wit everything but its goin great now.....sadly gotta start over wit my family

Hello,
Savefile corruption seems to be an issue in The Sims 4 too; so make sure to actually backup your savefolder regularly (depending on how often you play) !

yea ikr really will do after u all get the next update workin.....is there a bug with aging up? seems like all this happened wen on of my male sims turned elder but didn't....he looked like an adult and then my game went bonkers lol

An aging bug ? Not to my knowledge, but then this could also be caused by mods or CC. Sorry.
If you think it has to do with aging, try playing with aging turned off in the options. See if that helps anything.

no cc or mods here i just know before the last update aging up with the birthday cake had some glitch so wondered if people mite have still been having some sort of issue with it

With the birthday cake ? OK, I don't know about that, but yes, try letting the sims age up "naturally" then.
