Re: Problem with my usb flash drive.
Have you tried plugging it into a different USB port on your computer ?
Also try on a different computer, to see if it shows up on any other computer, basically.

Re: Problem with my usb flash drive.
Hi there,
Also try as follows:
1. Take the USB stick out.
2. Open the Start menu and type diskmgmt.msc in the search box, followed by [ENTER].
3. Wait for the window to load and then insert the USB stick and wait a few seconds.
4. A new drive should pop-up in the list. Right-click it and choose "Open".

Re: Problem with my usb flash drive.
Hi,
What options do you have when you right-click it?
I suspect that the USB stick is broken. It's odd, but it happened once or twice to me too. Not much you can do about that, if it's really the case.
Do you have a "Format..." option available somewhere?

Re: Problem with my usb flash drive.
Hello again,
Sorry to hear that.
Can you try the suggested steps by plugging the USB stick into another PC? (Preferably one with Windows 7 or 8 on it)

Hi again,
I'm out of suggestions. I think your USB stick is broken, unfortunately.
Let's wait and see if anyone else has better suggestions.

If you bought it very recently, and you still have the receipt, you may still have a warranty on that stick, though I'm unfamiliar with the exact (legal) circumstances on that matter, in your country/area.
But if you had a warranty, you could get a replacement, or even your money back.
