SimCity 4 Deluxe step 7 problem. [SOLVED]

When I finally get everything downloaded and I get to step 7 in the instructions placed by y'all in the file, I have severe problems. When I go to disk 1 > apps, I am unable to delete the simcity4.exe file. I am also not given the option to replace that file with the one in the #crack file. When I try to attempt it, I receive the error message stating "Please insert the SimCity 4 Deluxe play disk, select OK and restart game". I have restarted my computer twice and I have uninstalled and re-installed the game. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You get that error when you try to copy or actually run the file? Because it seems like you're (accidentally?) trying to run the file.

Try drag  & dropping the crack to the "Apps" folder instead. If that didn't work, try right-clicking the cracked .exe file and choosing "Copy" or "Cut". Then go to the "Apps" folder, right-click on an empty spot and choose "Paste".

Well I tried to click and drag, and it is not giving me the option to. I've tried to copy and paste this entire time, but it keeps telling me there is not enough space to do it.
