sims 4 help needed

hi this my first blog on this website so if i do something wrong just say. 

so basically i have applied the ultimate fix and whenever i start the sims 4 it opens then closes immediately.
any help would amazing i really want to play the sims 4

Are there no errors shown when you run The Sims 4? Have you applied the Ultimate Fix correctly?

i think i have applied the ultimate fix properly lol  
when i open the sims a new window opens up. it stays black for about 3 seconds then it closes

Have you perhaps installed vcredist in "__Installer/vc/vc2013/redist"?

ok another problem lol. i have noow got a error saying

Unable to start
initialization error at start up.

Just wondering, do you have CC (Custom Content)? If so, try taking them out and run TS4.

i dont think so lol i dont even know what that is lol

ahh sorry i just read through it and it seems that windows 8 is different lol
