If you have a Bittorrent client installed, you can also just paste that magnet link in your browser, and it'll automatically open in your Bittorrent client.

Thanks, Admin! I can't upload the torrent file to a regular host, since it's pirate content, and I can't upload to thepiratebay because they won't send me the confirmation email message, so I can't open a new account for myself there either.

I want to get an old laptop (saves energy) to use as a file server on my network, then it can stay up 24/7 without myself worrying it's gonna get tired... I'll see if my family has something to spare or if I find something real cheap in Brazil, where I am right now.

Consider a "NAS", it does exactly that.

Thanks, but that would cost more money, and it would not work as a computer like an old laptop I will just look for an old machine, maybe I can get one borrowed from my brother, we'll see, maybe I can even host a MC server too!

Thanks! Any help seeding is more than welcome at this first stage. My client says that the trackers already have a few seeds, but I am not really sure about that, I hope yes! Meanwhile, the file will be available when I am on line, that should be a sure thing!

More money than a dedicated laptop? Not sure about that. If you don't want to actually use the laptop, a NAS is better, because it uses less power. Also takes up less space than a laptop.
And it can do a lot of the things you do on your laptop: seeding, downloading, host 24/7 MC server, etc.
A (low-end) NAS doesn't have to be expensive, you can get them for way less than a new laptop.

Welcome to the world of pirates, you'll get used to that.
They don't need to contact you if, let's say, EA proves that they are the copyright holder and they have not given you permission.

Don't worry about it too much! It happened to a lot of people. KAT had a lot of potential, but they messed it up themselves.
KAT is a torrent sharing website, (technically) not a website to share illegal stuff. TPB is supposed to be exactly that. (Hence they'll only remove fake torrents - usually viruses - and stuff like child pornography)
So don't take it personally, and there's nothing you can do, since you're doing something that you're not supposed to do. They're just doing their job.

Anyway, there are tons of places you can host the .torrent files! Starting with low profile filesharing websites - or heck, even pack it in a .RAR file to make it look less suspicious. Sharing .torrents isn't a crime, because they can contain "normal" stuff too. You can also try: http://torcache.net/ (AFTER you have uploaded the .torrent file to their website, this will be your download link: http://torcache.net/torrent/91F64BE39712CEC3CEA4CD57136A36181D091AAA.torrent )

I'll let you know whether I can share it on the G4TW account, after checking it out.

Great! I will wait for your analysis. I see that link it an adfly one, and people with ad blockers won't be able to see the torrent (or the magnet). Maybe I should give thepiratebay another try, who knows I get their confirmation email, right?

I tried adfly before I could upload to KAT to see if they would redirect magnets, but it did not work at all, I even opened a ticket and they emailed me telling they are "looking into it". I am sure we'll find a nice solution for that. I really thought that KAT and TPB were of the same kind, since I usually find the same stuff, same users etc... I even stopped using TPB once they had that time out last year, because the site never felt "legit" as before, always looking a bit fishier than before. I'll let you know if I have an idea that works, meanwhile I guess I should paste the magnet link as plain text and tell people to copy it to their torrent clients or even with their browsers manually.

I just did a test and it gives a 404 error page, but the magnet link at the 404 page works, funny. Below is my shortened link, have fun!

I think I get what you did, you had to hide the link using adfly yourself, not the system, then it should forward the user to the 404 page with the magnet link after showing the user ads, since Google URL shortener doesn't work and we can't post direct links to the stuff here

I just found out that tiny url works with those links, and the magnet to my torrent should be available at http://tinyurl.com/ol539ap right now. Yay!!!

I'll let you know if I find a better solution, but your idea is just great, sorry for my slowness!!

What if you just paste it in your browser's search box and then press [ENTER]? It should prompt you to automatically open in µTorrent.
