NEED HELP

Ok, so as the title says i need help, with everything. First off let me start with a question which may resolve all of my problems. Do i need to install YOUR version of the game, or i can just apply the store/ultimate fixes on any version of the game there is on the internet and make it work? If so, i have trouble making the SimStore items work. I read almost everything there is on these forums, that can help me, but nothing seems to work. Turned off the in-game store, read the .package/sim3package guides, and nothing seems to work, the game works without a problem, but there are no ''extra'' items in there. So if anyone knows how to fix that i would be very grateful!

First, check your game version; early versions, prior to V1.2 I believe, will not recognize mods in either format. If that is the case install the V1.67 patch, that will bring you up to the latest version.
