I've seen other posts talking about changing system locale, but I've already done that and the game still continues to crash and want to terminate. Why.

I click play

This pops up VV

[HELP] The Sims Life Stories: crashes every time I choose an option for learn to play. Option10


I click play again. This games loads for about 3 seconds and then this pops on top of it VV

Like I said before I've already changed my system locale from Japan to English United States.
*I had it set japanese for another game*





PLEASE HELP ME. I NEED NESTALGIA!! The Sims 3 plumbob Help Help Help Help

Hello and welcome to the forum,

After changing the system locale, did you also re-boot the computer ? Please do so if you haven't. Other than that, I'm unsure. I heard from cases in which this error is not related to the system locale at all, but it could be some form of strange glitch with the game itself...

You could try uninstalling the game and re-booting the computer. Then re-install the game. If that doesn't help you, I'm afraid I can't suggest more. If you have access to a secondary computer, try installing the game there and see if it's any different.

I did reboot the computer after reseting system locale. Maybe theres a way to skip past it.

Could you tell us what anti-virus software you have ? Please try turning it off temporarily. Then download a new crack-file for the game here:
https://goo.gl/YzsMy2


Apply it to the appropriate location. By default that should be C:\Program files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims Life Stories\TSBin. When prompted, replace the existing file and start the game again.

Well, you will have Windows Defender, so you should either try turning it off, or at least adding the install location of the game to your exclusions in Windows Defender. Then try adding the crack-file again, from the previous message.

I've seen related problems with people who have installed certain stuff in Asian languages on their computers, and I'm not sure if that's the case with you, but if it is, I can't tell what to do there, I'm sorry. You probably won't want to re-install Windows just for that.

Try installing the game on another computer, and see if the same happens. Other than that I can't help further here, I'm sorry.
