Shader Problem composite1/composite2.
Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone has come across the error Composite1 or Composite2 error when using a shader pack on MInecraft.
I naturally have no idea what it means and happened since upgrading my graphics drivers.
The whole world or wherever I am is just white and glowy. I can't see anything its like you're in a white room full of marshmallows and you cant see anything or make out walls floors etc.
ONly happens using SEUS shaders or derivatives of it.
Thanks
Layloria

Hi there, @Layloria!
That problem seems to be related to the graphics drivers. What card do you have, and what driver version are you running? You may try to roll back to an earlier version to see if the problem is resolved.
Let us know how it goes. Good luck!

Hi there,
I personally don't use shaders, but a quick search gave me THIS result.
There seems to be a problem with the latest NVIDIA graphics drivers. I recommend that you revert back to the driver you had before updating (or at least an earlier version) for now.
You can revert via Device Management, just type "devmgmt.msc" in the Windows Start Menu seach box and press [ENTER].

Hello,
I do indeed have a Nvidia Graphics card. Unlucky for those that have the 1080 as theres none to revert back to.
Thanks.

Haha, are you implying you have a GTX 1080?
But... did it work?

Hi,
I'm not that fortunate, I've just bought replacement RAM as all of mine seem to be physically damaged or faulty. I'm getting BSOD BAD_POOL_HEADER and my IT friends adamant its the RAM so got some more.
So no money left for fancy graphic upgrading this month

Re: Shader Problem composite1/composite2.
Try the same steps?
Did you run MemTest86? That's a pretty accurate tool to find bad RAM, just let it run overnight or something.
I can highly recommend posting on THIS forum for help with your BSoD issues. They have excellent knowledge to help with BSoD issues. They can tell you whether it's actually caused by bad RAM or just a bad driver (which happens often too).

Re: Shader Problem composite1/composite2.
Hi,
I need new RAM anyway as I'm down to 12GB both different brands speeds and sizes. So I'm just using 8GB.
I have Blue Screen Viewer and its the driver is caused by a system file called tcip.sys
I've had a different type of crashing before BSOD where the whole PC freezes unresponsive. But everythings still powered on.
Odd, been a year now.
EDIT//
I have ran a memtest and memory diagnostics, its fine. Fails benchmarks and cpu stess tests.

Then I highly recommend trying that Forum.
They can also tell you what the file is actually used for/by.

Re: Shader Problem composite1/composite2.
After my last post, I went and updated my Nvidia graphics card driver to the latest version (June 2, 2016) and ran into the exact same problem. A roll back solved my problem.
Here's Nvidia's instructions on how to roll back to your previous driver or uninstall your current driver: link
And here you can download older Nvidia drivers: link
