(Please Read Everything)

Hello, I Want to Overclock My MSI Radeon HD 5450 (I've Tried Before) But Now I Have Some Problems.

First of all. My PC Specs:

Lenovo ThinkCentre E73 Mini Tower (Gift)

MSI Radeon HD 5450 1GB DDR3

Intel Pentium G630 2.7GHz

4GB DDR3 RAM (Single Stick)

180W PSU
--------------------------------------
Second Part: Clock Speeds

Core Clock (Base Clock) 400Mhz (Lowest Clock/Standard)

Memory Clock (Base Clock) 667Mhz (Lowest Clock/Standard)
-----------------------------------------------------------
Core Clock (Max Overclock) 700Mhz (Highest Clock)

Memory Clock (Max Overclock)  900Mhz (Highest Clock)
------------------------------------------------------

Ok. Now For the important part. My GPU Has No Fan it uses a heatsink.

So. What Does That Mean?, my GPU Is Clocked At The Lowest right now. And It Hits:

60C (In Denmark) And This Is While Not Playing And Fan Activity At 48/49/50% At Most Of The time

When I Play GTA 4 it goes to 73C.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Last Part. When I Boot Up My Pc It was 34C. Then i went out of my room To talk to family.

When i get Back its at 59C. Somebody Please tell me what i can do!. I Want to overclock, but i dont want to burn down my pc

You may have to take into account that you may need additional cooling systems (fans), in order to compensate for the increased after overclocking things. There are possible other disadvantages, like system stability issues.

In general though: don't mess with these things unless you yourself are an expert, and don't take advice from other people either (unless those are certified techies). I myself looked into that at some point, but decided I don't really need this. It's something only people should do, who really know what they are doing.
