Only base game will play.

hello all, I recently downloaded the sims base game and get to work EP from here, at 1st I couldn't get the base game to work because of the start up error, fixed it by downloading origin and going on offline mode but when I install the expansion pack it gives me the origin is not running error...what do I do? I turned off my antivirus and my wifi whenever I install

Origin must in no way be in action on your computer when starting the Sims 4.
(Not in the background and not off-line either)
Check the Taskmanager for anything that is related to Origin and close it.

I already deleted origin, and even did a registry clean but still won't work.

I even deleted my antivirus and it still won't work. damn this stupid origin....

Although parts of the guide here may be slightly outdated (I am thinking of re-vamping it, though):

It should still give you a first impression on what to do. Note: simply "turning off" anti-virus programs isn't going to work. You also have to take into account Windows Defender which will turn itself on by default in Windows 10, when you de-activate your main anti-virus. And you have to consider that some anti-virus programs simply continue working even after you turn them "off".

I know this is very difficult to do, but there isn't too much else we can suggest. The cracked TS4 is not easy to handle unfortunately.

I already uninstalled my antivirus and my windows defender is turned off, I don't know what else to do.
