No internet access/No Origin - The Sims 4
I red all instructions when it comes to "opening new subject", passed almost all theme threads with names Sims 4 and I cannot find solution for my problem.
So...
These were steps:
1.Installing base game TS4, and all other parts than (LT and SL)
- can open game, and also functioning perfectly
2. Tried to put CC in Moods (several times) - I can see them in game options but inside game they are not readable
- making sub folders in moods, and also sub/sub/sub folders didn't helped
Then...I figure out if update is problem(as somebody says here) and i installed CityLiving few hours ago - am I supposed to have latest update with this part of TS4? But there is no update...
Symptoms:
- cannot go online in game
- there is no option "enable custom content" in game
- there is no origin/update
Thank you very much for your help in advance. Hope I didn't make a mistake here with opening this thread.
All best!
U

Hello,
Welcome to the forum.
Nope you did the right thing let's see if we can help you out.
Did you enable Mods in the in-game options menu? They will only work if you do that. The option to enable your mods is in the game menu under the "Other" tab. Are they in the right location in your "The Sims 4" folder in documents? Note that mods go in a different folder than lots/sims etc.
Yes, after you install City Living, you will have the latest version of the game. There's no need to install a patch or anything, with the installation of that file, you will have the latest gameversion.
I am not sure what you mean by "going online in game". I would say that you can't, and those are the limitations of using a cracked game.

Hello,
You cannot use any online features (Gallery) with cracked Sims 4 games anymore. It used to work in the past, but hasn't been working for over a year now I guess. If you want to access the Gallery, the only way to do so is to purchase an Origin-version of The Sims 4, and connect to the Gallery using that Origin-game.

Re: No internet access/No Origin - The Sims 4
Hello, again!
Sorry because it took me so long to answer.
Actually, I decided to uninstall TS4 and return to mine fav TS3 or 2.
But, if this theme can serve to someone else, in the name of that I will post a picture of settings inside the game. Maybe moderators have an idea how we can solve this in the future.
As you can see I don't have where to enable CC just moods, but as I already said - moods are in this options but not inside the game.
So, wish you all the best in solving this problem, and also if I can do anything, don't hesitate, just say:)

Did you install all updates for the game, like Get to Work -> Get together -> City Living? This option for enabling DLC was added only later on, but I can't recall anymore on which DLC...

Re: No internet access/No Origin - The Sims 4
Yes, of course, I did that all immediately after installing a base game.
