Sims 2 Complete Collection EP1 "Insert Disc"

Hello guys, I downloaded your Sims 2 Complete Collection and installed base game properly, but when I tried to install EP1 University it asks me for insert the disc. I read about a #Patch folder in the Installation guide but its absolutely missing from my .rar file! I though maybe running a patch and then run the EP1 install would make it work but yeah... #Patch folder doesnt exist anywhere.

Do you have a link exclusively for #patch folder? What should I do whith the Insert Disc problem?

I found the #Patch folder were inside each of the EP folder   but still have the Insert Disc issue with the EP1. Should I run the first patch and try it again?

Hello again @SimmerAbby,

Unfortunately, the "insert disc" thing is a known issue with our version of The Sims 2. Luckily, in many cases it can be fixed relatively easy. See the post here:

After you installed the expansion successfully, you can go on with the rest of the expansions. Also, there is no patch included in the torrent, for the University-EP. At the time I compiled the torrent, the official patch was not working for the cracked game, and I didn't really have any idea about what else could be done. Only until a few months earlier, I may have found a way to update the University-EP-portion. See this topic here.

No, you made this possible!   Of course, of you get the error with other expansions, you can do the same with them as well. Was there anything else you needed to know, for the moment?

Yeah I had the same error with others EPs but did the same process and everything went fine. 

All 4 Sims games runs perfectly and Im waiting patiently for the City Living expansion pack :p

May I ask something my open for business autorun.exe won't work it say please insert disk number 1 i triend mounting it but it won't work either I tried moving it to another folder and still wont work what can i do to fix it?

Have you tried to patch (T2Update) before trying to install Open For Business ?
I remember from "the old days" that installing an expansion, another disk was required to update the game.

There are 2 alternative solutions:
1. Download original copies of the disks and install them as if they are the real disks via mouinting in PowerIso.
2. Download the all-in-one and install, with just 1 mouseclick, ALL DLC's for the sims 2. No installcodes, no patches, no cracks required.
Both options can be downloaded from THIS WEBPAGE
Poweriso is required to mount the .iso's
