Game keeps appearing in Spanish. [SOLVED] Empty Game keeps appearing in Spanish. [SOLVED]

Post by Guest Sat 21 Oct 2017, 08:29

Hello

I just installed some cc from TSR and know my game keeps appearing in spanisch even after applying the fix. I removed allready the mods folder but that does not fix the problem. The game worked just fine and the fix worked before I installed the cc.

Thanks!

Another solution:
1. Open the folder The Sims 4\Game\Bin and copy the file RldOrigin.ini to your desktop.
2. Delete the folder Game
3. Open the extracted download for Fitness
4. Copy the folder Game from that download to your installation folder The Sims 4
5. Copy RldOrigin.ini from your desktop to the installation folder The Sims 4\Game\Bin.
6. Set the language to the one your require.

Now start your game as an administrator.

Thx for the answers!
I accidently removed all the games (don't know how I did that... grmbl) No shit, Sherlock. Noob
So I'm going to install all the games again. I'll let you know how it turns out Rolling Eyes

//EDIT

I've tested the game after each installation. Only the last game 'toddlers' gives problems. The game doesn't even want to start. This is the error I get. Followed the steps one by one... Right clicked on the .exe. file and chose run as administrator.

Hi @Wickedwizze ,

You can delete the GameVersion.txt in Documents\EA\The Sims 4. The game should start now.

Hi @meiske08 ,

Have you tried using the game folder from here as well?
https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t29990-fix-for-endless-household-loading-screen-version-1-33-38-1020

Else, try running the game with a fresh sims 4 folder in Documents (renaming the old one will do).

The safest way is:
1. Open your installation folder The Sims 4 -> Game -> Bin
2. Copy the file Rldorigin.ini to your desktop
3. Now delete the complete folder Game from your installation folder
4. Open the extracted download for Fitness
5. Copy the folder Game to your installation folder
6. Copy the file RldOrigin.ini back from your desktop

That solves the endless loading.
Wrong language ?  Open RldOrigin.ini with notepad, adjust the line Language= to show your required language, such as Language=en_US, save file.
Now start your game the first time as an Administrator.

@meiske08

The ones in Documents\EA\The Sims 4, if you want to start the game with a fresh folder. This means that you will have no mods/CCs as well as saves. It's good when you want to find out whether the bugs is CC related or corrupted saves.

Everything looks to be in order for your installation folder. Try renaming the one in Documents and see if that helps.

Hi

Everything is fine in game!
Thanx again Aadmien liekesss!

//EDIT

Ok, not everything is fine. Now I played a little longer, I was searching for a specific item. I couldn't find out so I wanted to use some filters. Than I realised not everything is installed.
I miss (EP) city living, (gp) dine out, (SP) vintage glamour, backyard, kidsroom, romantic garden and movie hangout.
Should I reinstall everything from te beginning?
If I click on the icons on the start sreen it sais: Download needed.
I'll make a screenshot of the gamefolder in an instant.

Thank you!

//EDIT

In this folder it is obvious that some packs are missing... Game keeps appearing in Spanish. [SOLVED] Untitl12

Hi @Wickedwizze ,

Indeed you are missing a few folders. You can safely re-install City Living up till Toddler's Stuff again. Remember to rename the Game folder after Vampire again.

I re-installed everything from City living till toddlers..; First I did get some issues starting the game but I could fix that with the tips above. But now Toddlers stuff isn't working and it is in mine the sims4 folder... Tomorrow I'll try the last steps again. i'll keep you posted.

//EDIT

Whatever I do, I can't install toddlers :'(
If I install it, I can't run the game. I applied the fix. Game doesn't run. I replace the game folder like described above. Toddlers isn't installed. (Ok not such a big deal. I can wait for the next gamepack with a new crack.) Game starts but when I choose one of my save games I get an neverending loadingscreen....
I don't know what else I can do...

I can only suggest that inspite the fact that the game is not working at this stage, you install Parenthood, delete the existing folder Game (and Game_ if you have it) from your install folder Program Files\The Sims 4 and then install Fitness.

Due to rule 7 of this forum I can't give you a much simpler solution such as downloading a new Game folder for Toddler's Stuff.

Delete te existing folder Game and, if you have it, also Game_
Copy the folder Game from your desktop back to your install folder Program Files\The Sims 4
Start your game as an administrator

If necessary change the language.
Open your install folder Program Files\The Sims 4
Open the folder Game, Open the folder Bin
Open RldOrigin.ini with Notepad
